Renovation of an educational facility in Normal, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Illinois State University intends to award all subdivisions of work to a mechanical contractor, serving as the general contractor for the project with the expectation to subcontract all other work outside of the mechanical scope. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to complete work for the extension of chilled water supply and return piping from the direct buried 18" chilled water located along University Street over to the east side of the heat plant of Illinois State University. Upgrade the existing chilled water piping and pumps within the heat plant. Upgrade the chilled water piping from the heat plant to the Braden Auditorium, Bone Student Center and Milner shared mechanical room. Contractor shall conduct its operations as to ensure least inconvenience to general public by scheduling work with the owner to accommodate owner occupancy and operations. This bulletin is the only official source of documents for this bid. Clarifications or modifications to drawings or specifications will be posted via addendum. To give questions appropriate consideration and to give bidders time to respond to the resulting clarifications, the University requires that all questions be submitted no later than 4:30pm August 27th, 2024 to Mary Kate Schopp at mkschop@ilstu.edu.
