Renovation of an educational facility in Rushville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Project scope consists of interior renovations of Rushville Elementary School - Electrical Renovations Bid Package # 4 - Electrical By submitting Bid on enclosed Bid Form, Bidder satisfies requirement for Indiana Form No. 96 (Revised 2013), as prescribed by State Board of Accounts of Indiana. This shall clearly show Bidders' financial resources, construction experience, organization, and equipment available for Work contemplated. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid (or combination of bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bidder may withdraw his Base Bid for a period of 60 days calendar days after the date set for bid opening. Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents which are on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective bidders via email correspondence. Bids will be emailed to each manufacturer. Bid security in the form of AIA Document A310, certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 86, "Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction," or a form from an acceptable surety shall accompany each Bid. The bid security shall be in the penal amount of 10% of the total bid. All bid bonds shall be made payable to the Rush County Board of Education. Bid security shall be forfeited if bid is withdrawn after closing time on date for receiving bids. Rush County Board of Education reserves the right to assign any portion of the bid or bids to a holding company. See "Instruction to Bidders" for additional information. The bidders will submit their Employer identification Number (E.I.N.) to the Owner on the bid form. In the absence of an E.I.N. they must submit their Social Security Number. An out-of-state contractor will be obligated to show proof that they are registered with the Indiana Secretary of State to conduct business in the State of Indiana. The successful bidders will be required to furnish Contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Bonds shall be maintained in accordance with IC 36-1- 12-13.1 and 36 12 14. Bonds shall be in full force and in effect for a period of at least 12 months after the date of final completion of the Contract. Should the contractor's bonding company give notice of cancellation, the contractor will be responsible for securing new bonds within fourteen (14) calendar days. Bidders shall state completion time along with their bid. Commence Work within 48 hours after signing contract or receiving a notice to proceed, and complete Work ready for completion as follows: Substantial Completion: March 28, 2025 Final Completion: April 11, 2025 No Pre-Bid scheduled. If you need your documents shipped, although the system will ask for your shipper number, plan holders will not be able to ship using their own shipper numbers for this job. Shipping charges are paid to Eastern Engineering and are posted online.
