Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
o Evaluate the condition of the building exterior to determine appropriate mounting installation manner to the historic nature of the structure. o Remove existing hardware where applicable. o Provide, or manufacture steel frame suitable for the awning industry installed securely to the building. o Provide suitable cloth covering suitable for awning industry installed to the steel frame in the pattern/color choice of the building owner with 8" fixed valance. o A separate quote for fixed valance painted graphics shall be provided per unit. (unit being per property address) o Remove all trash and debris from work site o Appendix A describes the listing of locations currently included in the following proposal. Bids are to include all labor, equipment and material required to complete the scope of work. Contractor is responsible for securing all necessary city permits; cost of those permits should be included in this bid. This document constitutes a request for sealed bids, including prices, from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services and/or items as described herein. All documents included in submission are to be of public record. The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide and install new awnings at various downtown locations. The City of St. Joseph reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of St. Joseph is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
