Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to haul refuse from Ocotillo Wells District Area 5172 Hwy 78, Borrego Springs, CA 92004 The purpose of this Agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions under which the Contractor is to provide trash services. The Contractor agrees to provide to Ocotillo Wells SVRA with all labor, trash and recycle bins, equipment, and incidentals, and to pay all associated costs, fees, and taxes, necessary to provide trash and recycling collection, hauling, and disposal services as described herein. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to be present at the bid opening. In the case of a tie bid, the determination of a successful bidder will be made by a coin toss in the presence of all interested bidders. Bids may be rejected if they show any alteration of form, additions not called for, conditioned bids, incomplete bids, or irregularities of any kind. Only those bids which cover all the work called for, and meet all requirements specified will be considered. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids Contract Award: The contract award, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder who complies with all the requirements specified in the bid solicitation documents, which include, among others, the Invitation for Bids, Instructions to Bidders for Refuse Disposal Service, Specifications, Bid Form, and when applicable, Additional Instructions to Bidders, and the DVBE Compliance Certification and Documentation. This Agreement shall commence on September 1, 2024 (estimated) or upon approval by the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DPR. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by the Ocotillo Wells SVRA Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on three years after approval date by DGS. The services shall be provided during normal working hours 7:00 AM -3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except State holidays.
