Renovation of a municipal facility in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This work includes interior refurbishment of 1st and 2nd floor public washrooms. Renovation of 2nd floor office spaces. Creation of 2 new universal washrooms on 2nd and 5th floors and 1 first aid room/refuge room on 2nd floor. Installation of new security measures in East and West stairwells. Replacement of vertical sanitary and storm risers, valves, drains, plumbing fixtures on floors 1 through 8. Installation of 2 new bottle fill station on 1st and 5th floors. Mechanical and structural updates in service rooms on each floor to install new exhaust stack from floor 5 to 9. Only contractors who have been successfully prequalified under PQ2022-22 and PQ2024-11 may bid on this work.
