Renovation of a military facility in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Base Bid: Provide demolition of the existing range tower and 45 existing target emplacement coffins. Construction of new range tower, 30 target emplacement coffins, electrical equipment and distribution wiring, communications equipment and distribution wiring, earthwork, and gravel parking areas. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract CMTC Range 30 Modernization located in Fort Chaffee, AR for the Arkansas Department of the Military. The State reserves the right to schedule additional meetings. DESIGN PROFESSIONAL: Garver Engineering, LLC, Thomas Graham, P.E., 4701 Northshore Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72118. 501- 376-3633. A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is more than $50,000.00. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
