The City of Pacific Grove invites sealed bids for a sidewalk improvements project along David Avenue between Presidio Blvd. and Clark Lane including a segment along Presidio Blvd. The work generally consists of roadway excavation, subgrade preparation for construction and/or reconstruction of curb and gutter, cross gutter, sidewalks, driveway approaches and curb ramps, including pavement conform strips and transition areas. Miscellaneous work includes removing and reconstructing a drainage inlet, relocating street signs, adjusting existing utility boxes, applying new pavement striping and markings and all other work shown on the plans.. All bids submitted shall include a completed "Proposal", which is included in the Bidder Package. Each bid must be accompanied by Cash, Cashiers' Check, Certified Check or Bidder's Bond in an amount equal to not less than 10% (ten percent) of the total amount of the bid price. The work performed under this contract must conform to requirements of the project Technical Specifications and Special Provisions, which are described in the Bidder Package.
