As of September 16, 2024, project was awarded to Stefaniks with the awarded amount of $189,717.25. The MEADOWLARK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove an existing bridge and abutments, excavate and construct new concrete abutments, install a pre-fabricated steel bridge, install rip rap streambank stabilization, and install bituminous paving for roadway reconstruction. Proposals must be on the forms provided in the bid documents. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Borough of Waynesburg. The bid envelope must be clearly marked MEADOWLARK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Borough of Waynesburg reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the MEADOWLARK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by Borough of Waynesburg for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
