As of June 10, 2021, this project was awarded to Costabile Construction in the amount of $723,719.18. The County of Greene will receive bids for the Construction of the Wisecarver Recreation Area Softball Facility. The work includes earthwork and pad development, and construction of a driveway, parking lot, walkways, and one softball field. Project tasks include E-S controls, drainage, stormwater management, concrete and asphalt pavements, softball field layout, infield mix, fence installation, and landscaping. The project already has a HOP and a NDPES Individual Permit approved. A Pre-Bid meeting will not be conducted. All questions during the bid are to be submitted in writing to mlokay@mackinengineering.com up to 5 days prior to the due date. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Greene County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. In no event will Greene County consider a contractor as eligible if he cannot initiate the work under the contract within 20-days of the contract execution and proceed to the successful completion of the work within 150-consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, given a negotiated winter shut-down time based on seasonal precipitation and temperatures. The owner has rejected all bids on this project. It will be rebid in the future.
