Renovation of a detention facility in Rutledge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The project will generally consist of the following: Installation of mechanical bar screen, compactor washer, and appurtenances. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and hereby, notifies all Bidders will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in a response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual preference, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status in consideration for an award. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
