VMI is seeking a vendor to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the scope of work provided in this solicitation. Vendors should also be certified or licensed to use any required fertilizers or chemicals needed to perform the SOW. Moving up closing date and answering questions. 1. This work is for the 2024 season 2. Fertilizer is applied one to two times a month from the middle of May through end of August 3. 4" plugs are preferred when aerification is being done on fields. 4. The top dressing material is a finely ground up sand. The measurement for the top dressing is about 1/8" to 3/8" of material or about 1 cubic yard per 1,000 sq/ft Scope of WorkContractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the scope of work as defined in this document. o Each field is estimated to be approximately 92,000 square feet o Provide two (2) applications of granular fertilizer: 15-0-30 is suggested; other levels will have to be preapproved by VMI prior to application o Provide two (2) iterations of deep tine aeration: 3/4 " tine X 12" maximum depth with a 6" X 6" spacing o Apply winter pre-emergent chemicals o Top dress, including required materials Bid Alternative #1 o Broadcast spreading of ryegrass seed, including labor materials, and equipment in order to keep the fields green during November and December game play
