Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Floresville, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,370-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of demolishing existing structures, removing and replacing utilities and fencing, removing existing subgrade, placing select fill, constructing a new Law Enforcement Center (including interior furniture and required electronics), installing a new pre-engineered metal building, constructing a new parking lot, steel frame canopies, and security infrastructure in accordance with the contract documents, technical specifications, and plans. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Floresville or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Floresville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
