Push Creek Stewardship Contracting Project for a combination of timber and stewardship project work items associated with this stewardship contract. Timber to be cut within the contract area includes an estimated volume of 1,302.00 CCF Hardwood sawtimber, 12,977.00 CCF of Southern Yellow Pine sawtimber, 1,133.00 CCF Hardwood pulpwood, and 961.00 CCF of Softwood-Other pulp wood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. Mandatory stewardship project work includes 371.59 acres of Mid story Reduction in Payment Units 01, 06, 08, 09, 10,12, 13, 14, and 16. This contract contains specified roads with an estimated public works construction cost of $ 215,350.00. The successful offeror will be required to make a Deposit for Reconstruction Engineering Services for work performed by the Forest Service in the amount of $12,836. Offers will be evaluated on a best value basis and offeror's must submit a technical proposal describing how timber removal and steward ship project work will be completed, as well as a per unit rate bid for the timber and for completing the stewardship project work items. Offers will not be publicly opened or disclosed. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all offers. A prospectus, offer form, blank technical proposal form, blank past performance questionnaire form, complete information concerning the timber, the stewardship project work required in this contract, and the process to submit offers is available to the public from the Forest Supervisor's Office, Hot Springs, AR or the District Ranger's Office in Hochatown, Oklahoma.
