The estimated cost of the project is $100,000.00 The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids are to be submitted on a lump sum basis. The attention of bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions, RC 4115.02 et seq., governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on public improvements, and also to RC 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. No bid will be considered which is greater than twenty percent (20%) of the estimated cost of the project. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check equal to 10% of the bid to guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a 100% performance bond guaranteeing the faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising under the Contract. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date of fixed for opening bids.
