Renovation of a municipal facility in Honolulu, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Recoat roofs and replace gutters of four (4) buildings at the Central Services Division Baseyard. Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Wong, Teri K. Request a proposal for all work, complete and in-place, for the following: Clean all roofs/surfaces on Buildings #1, #3 and #5 to the requirements of the coating to be applied. Repair corroded sections of roof as required. Replace missing roof fasteners as required. Existing insulation appears to be radiant barrier and / or batt insulation. Existing radiant barrier and insulation to remain. See bid form for additive. Apply polyurethane base coating. Henry Seamles SEAL POLY+ coatings (base and finish) or approved equal. Manufacturer's written verification of applicator approval is required. Materials and workmanship 20-year warranty upon final inspection by Manufacturer's Representative. Skylights on Buildings #1 and #3: o Apply sealant around all skylights. Sealant shall be pigmented urethane sealant or Seal-Tek Micro Fibers mixed with the urethane coating. o Reinforcing fabric shall be Seal-Tek Reinforcing Fabric or approved equal. o Tape shall be Seal-Tek Sure Tape or approved equal. o Coat the skylights with Henry SRC Silicone Skylight Coating or approved equal at minimum 30 mils in multiple coats to eliminate sag or runoff. Solids Content by Volume: 90% +/-3; Appearance: Clear o For existing fiberglass panel skylights that have been painted: paint over with yellow outline/striping. Building #5, Records and Storage Center: o Disconnect PV panels for safety of roofers, remove/relocate panels as required. Existing plans to be provided upon request. o Approximately 5,200 sq. ft. of badly damaged roof will be replaced with PAC-CLAD R36 exposed fastener panel .032 Aluminum Stone White or approved equal, fastening to purlins w/ stainless steel fasteners w/ EPDM washers or approved equal. o Apply sealant over fasteners of PV mounts. The L foot bracket fastener to be backed out and a bead of an approved polyurethane sealant applied at the threads and refastened. Detail each L foot bracket with polyurethane sealant and allow to cure. o Reinstall PV panels. Reuse existing racking system. See Bid Form for additive. Replace gutters on Buildings #1, #3 and #6 with 6" commercial box gutter 24 ga. Kynar coated zincalume steel. Notify Contract Administrator if there are any deviations from the existing installation. Time of Performance Provide schedule two (2) weeks after notice to proceed. 6 months construction schedule. Prospective qualified Offerors are invited to attend a pre-bid conference to be held at the Central Services Division Baseyard located at 729 Kakoi Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of this non-mandatory meeting is to address any questions and concerns Offerors may have regarding the procurement process, IFB specifications and the scope of work.
