The Work included in this Project consists of reconstructing N Rd between W Road 1 North and W Road 2 North with 4 AC over 8 ABC. The Town is issuing this IFB to secure a qualified Engineering Contracting (Commercial) Class A Licensed Contractor to perform the Work and provide Materials as more particularly described in the Specifications attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference. The Contract Time for this Project shall be 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. All Work on the Project shall be completed on or before the expiration of the Contract Time. Final Inquiries Due: Friday, August 30, 2024, at 5:00 pm Bidders desiring to prepare a responsive Bid shall submit a nonrevocable bid security payable to the Town in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid Price. This security shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashiers check and must be in the possession of the Town Representative by the Bid Deadline. Performance Bond. The Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security binding the Contractor to provide faithful performance of this Contract in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Price payable to the Town. The Contractor shall be required to furnish non-revocable security for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to the Contractor or any Subcontractor for the performance of any Work related to this Contract.
