Renovation of an educational facility in Albany, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
UAlbany is seeking to engage a design consultant to work with the UAlbany Facilities Management Office in the development a window replacement plan that will involve seven buildings. Implementation of the replacement plan is expected to progress in multiple phases over multiple years in a manner that aligns with the flow of capital funding. Once a replacement plan is completed, design and construction will progress in phases with the intent to create a regular cyclical approach of the same until all eight buildings are completed. Completion of the Window Replacement Plan is anticipated to require four months from the date of a Notice to Proceed. Completion of design for the first phase of the Plan is dependent on the number of buildings involved. It is anticipated that each building should require approximately six to nine months design time. Minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to respond. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: ~6 years The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
