Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clarksville, Tennessee. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Statement of Work Relocate a server rack from smaller office to more spacious center storage office. Background The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Benefits Administration requires the removal and installation of server equipment for the Dunbar Cave Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Office located at 227 B Clarksville, TN 37040. All work must be conducted from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. A pre-bid walk through of the site is required to present an accurate quote. 2.0 Description The contractor shall provide all personnel labor, supervision, tools, and materials required for the removal and installation of the server rack in suite 227B from the existing location, a small utilities closet, to the new location, the center copier and storage room. A dedicated circuit needs to be installed in the new location for the server rack. Data ports (2) need to be relocated in offices identified. A site visit will be required to determine how many personnel are needed for the contract. 3.0 Scope The contractor should perform to the standards in this contract. 3.1 Removal of server rack from the current location and the installation at the new location. CAT6 cabling is required to be ran from all offices to the server rack. Data ports (2) needs to be relocated in offices identified. A dedicated power outlet installation is required for the server rack in new location. 3.2 Demo and housekeeping: Contractors are responsible for removing old cabling and wiring. They are also responsible for repairs of any damages caused by contractor personnel.A All damages shall be repaired to reflect area original condition. The work area shall be free of safety hazards and removal of al trash conducted at the end of each day.A 3.3 The contractor is responsible for providing a 7 day notice to the Nashville VBA Contracting Officer Representative, currently Carla Christian, and Contracting Officer, Heather Allen. Once started, the project timeline to completion should not exceed 3 business day. The contractor is responsible for conducting business during duty hours on Monday thru Friday from 8 am- 4 pm, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, or similar Government directed facility closings. Any work outside of this time frame will have to be approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).A 4.0 Place of Performance The work will be conducted in the 227 B Dunbar Cave Road, VR&E office, Clarksville, TN 37040. 5.0 Safety The contractor shall provide appropriate safety signs at the construction site.A They shall comply with the standards issued by the Secretary of Labor at 29 CFR part 1926 and 29 CFR part 1910.A In the event safety violations occur, the Contracting Officer will notify the contractor, orally and in writing, requesting immediate initiation of corrective action. 6.0 Security Project Manager (PM) will be provided access to the facilities. PM will be present on the work site during the designated time.A 7.0 Key personnel The contractor shall provide a contract manager who shall be responsible for the performance of the work. The name of this person and an alternate who shall act for the contractor when the manager is absent shall be designated in writing to the contracting officer. The contract manager or alternate shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract.A These individuals must provide their contact information. 8.0 Site Visit A Pre-awarded Site visit will be required to ensure accuracy of the contract scope and to ensure the required materials are needed. 9.0 Period of Performance Contract completion is required within 30 days after contract awarded.
