The Greene County Board of Commissioners are issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to architectural firms experienced in the development of preliminary architectural plans, final design documents, construction documents, and bid documents for the expansion of the Greene County Senior Center, located at 1031 Silver Drive, Greensboro, GA 30642. The current facility is approximately 5,700 square feet and was constructed in 1995. Greene County would like to consider options for expansion to account for an increased need for services. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed to provide these services and experienced in the preparation of plans for federally funded projects, specifically the Community Development Block Grant Redevelopment Fund program. Services provided will include preparation of a preliminary architectural report, architectural design plans, and construction documents. Services will also include construction management services for the implementation of the project, if awarded. The statement of qualifications shall contain the following: History of firm and resources CDBG experience, including other GA Department of Community Affairs grant programs Key personnel/qualifications Current workload E. Scope and level of service proposed Experience with similar projects and list of references Fees and/or Percentages (if any) associated with the Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR) for the application, and design and construction management services, if the project is funded. The draft PAR would be needed no later than January 31, 2025.
