As of 9/27/24, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Louisville Lane Waterline Extension Project Description The work to be performed hereunder shall include, but not be limited to, the construction of 2,975 linear feet of 8" watermain, 2 fire hydrant assemblies, blow off valve, air release valve, 14 watermeters and associated 3/4 " service line, one road bore, and related appurtenances and work items as shown on the plans and as described in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contract Licensing BIDDER'S attention is invited to the requirements of Section 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia pertaining to registration and contractor licensure. The bidder shall place on the outside of the envelope containing the bid and shall place in the bid over his signature whichever of the following notations is appropriate: Licensed Class A Virginia Contractor, Licensed Class B Virginia Contractor Question Deadline 09/05/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
