Site work and paving for a road / highway in Galax, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Galax invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for paving services for the fiscal year 7/1/24- 6/30/25. The City has identified public streets to receive asphalt overlays in accordance with Virginia Department of Transportation standards. Total estimated square yards are 15,955 of milled asphalt to be removed and 3,512 tons of new asphalt laid and paved to VDOT standards. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to alter the number of streets to be paved upon final bids and negotiations with the successful bidder. The City of Galax is an equal opportunity employer.
