Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Galax, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a 90,205-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project: Sealing and striping parking lots at 6999 Carrollton Pike, Galax, VA (90,205 sq. ft.). Scope: Clean surfaces, seal cracks, apply sealant, stripe spaces. Work on weekends only (Friday 6 PM to Sunday 8 PM). Requirements: Licensed and insured in Virginia. Experience with similar projects. References from two previous clients. Mount Rogers Community Services (MRCS) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide sealing and striping services for the following parking lots in Galax, VA. 6999 Carrollton Pike (Est. Area 90, 205 sq. ft.) The scope of work includes cleaning, sealing cracks, applying seal coat, and restriping all lots according to existing or updated layout plans. 2. Scope of Work - Thorough cleaning and preparation of all parking lot surfaces. - Crack sealing of all visible surface cracks using appropriate hot or cold crack filler. - Application of two (2) coats of commercial-grade sealant on each lot. - Layout and striping of parking spaces, including: - Standard parking spaces - ADA-compliant spaces (with proper signage and markings) - Fire lanes - Arrows or other directional indicators, as necessary - Proper barricading of work zones during the project for safety. - Disposal of any waste materials per local regulations. 3. Work Schedule Requirement All work must be completed during weekend hours only to minimize disruption to regular operations. Work should be scheduled to begin no earlier than Friday at 6:00 PM and be completed no later than Sunday at 8:00 PM. Evaluation: Based on cost, experience, timeline, references, warranty.
