Site work for a mixed-use development in Watertown, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project site is located on Public Square consisting of Parking Striping, No Parking zones, Traffic Lane stripping, Directional Arrows, Stopping Bars, and Cross Walk stripping as detailed in the Project Description and illustrated in the drawings portion of this bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in the specifications. . Restripe all parking locations, no parking stripping, crosswalks, handicap parking symbols, road lane striping, and stop bars as shown on the Contract Drawings and as directed by the City Engineer. As of August 13, 2025, this project has been abandoned. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five per centum (5%) of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the total amount of the accepted bid and in such form and having as surety thereon such surety company or companies as are approved by the City Council. Insurance carrier must have principal office in New York State or be authorized to do business in New York State. The City Council reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids.
