Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Blandford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of October 1, 2024, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available. Project Culvert Replacements on Algerie Road. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Remove and replace two 18" x 40' culverts and headwalls, two 24" x 40' culverts and headwalls and one 24" x 80' culvert crossing, catch basin and headwall. Blacktop is to be saw cut to remove existing culverts, backfilled and compacted during installation with existing material if functional or 3/4" dense grade crushed stone. Culverts, catch basin, headwalls, blacktop/culvert disposal and environmental permitting will be provided by the Town. Traffic Control shall be provided by the Contractor. Must be OSHA 10 certified. Entire project including material has an estimated value of $50,000. Project to be completed per current Mass DOT specifications. Project is to be bid as one package. Prevailing wage applies as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F and a wage schedule is included in the specifications. A 100% performance bond is required of successful bidder, 5% deposit required with bid.
