A timeline for award has not yet been established. ** Sub Bid** Sub Bid Deadline:2:00 p.m. on November 30, 2020 The bidding and award of the Contract shall be in full compliance with Sections 44A to 44J inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as last revised. In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44D, General Bids will be valid only when accompanied by (1) a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance showing that the General Bidder has been certified in the classification of Sewage and Water Treatment Plants and has the capacity rating to perform this work, and (2) an Update Statement summarizing the General Bidders record for the period between the latest Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance certification of eligibility and the date the bid is submitted. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44D, each Sub-Bid will be valid only when accompanied by (1) a current Certificate Eligibility issued by Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance showing that the Sub-Bidder has been certified to participate in public construction projects and to perform the work required, and (2) an Update Statement summarizing the Sub-Bidders record for the period between the latest Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance certification of eligibility and the date the bid is submitted. Any Sub-Bid submitted without the required Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement shall be invalid. A bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, cash, or certified, treasurers, or cashiers check shall be required as follows: Sub Bids: Five percent of the value of the Bid. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Commission. Sub-bid, including all alternates, for the following subtrades: Masonry Work Miscellaneous Metals Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Electrical Work Complete instructions for filing Bids and Sub-Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders.
