Renovation of a municipal facility in Hickman, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The contractor should bid on a three-step application as follows: (1) Installation of a cleaner primer to assure adhesion (2) Installation of a silicone spray-on coat to invade all cracks, crevices and voids and create an even roof line (3) Installation of an elastic coat that will contract and expand with building, that will provide a top sealing coat and reflect harmful UV rays. Roof should have a white finish. Contractor should specify each product used in each application and manufactures specifications. The bid should include a minimum 20-year roof warrant and a minimum 3-year labor and installation warrant.
