HVAC Renovation Fulton County Courthouse This project includes the renovation of the existing Fulton County Courthouse which consists of the removal of the existing HVAC system and replacement with a new HVAC system. Additional scope of work to support the new HVAC system and renovation includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, exterior concrete, walls, finishes, ceilings, doors and frames, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and other work indicated in the Contract documents. If the Bidder is not a part of the successful Bidding team, document sets shall be returned to RiverCity Printing LLC within twenty (20) days of the Bid Date for return of refundable deposit(s). Bidders not returning plan sets to RiverCity Printing LLC within twenty (20) days of the Bid Date shall forfeit the deposit amounts to the Owner. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who cannot show a record of representation of meeting attendance. Bid will be valid for 60 days after bid date. Bidder will furnish Bid Bond for 5% of bid amount. Successful bidders will furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. 4 Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 07/04/2025 Any information relative to interpretation of specifications and drawings shall be requested of the soliciting department, in writing, in ample time before the opening of bids. No inquiries, if received within five (5) days of the date set for the opening of bids, will be given any consideration. Any material interpretation made to prospective bidders will be expressed in the form of an addendum to the specification which, if issued, will be sent to all prospective bidders no later than three (3) days before the date set for receipt of bids. Oral answers will not be authoritative. AWARD OR REJECTION OF BIDS- The County Judge-Executive, and or his/her representative shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder complying with all provisions of the Invitation for Bid, provided the bid price is reasonable and it is in the best interest of the County to accept it. Awards made in response to an RFP will be made to the highest qualified offeror whose proposal is determined, in writing, to be the most advantageous to the County taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in the RFP. The County reserves the right to award a contract by individual items, in the aggregate, or in combination thereof, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the County. The County also reserves the right to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or complete on time contracts of a similar nature, or a bid of a bidder who investigation shows is not in a position to perform the contract. Substantial Completion occurring after two hundred forty (240) days shall be $250 per calendar day until completion. Final Completion occurring after thirty (30) days shall be $100 per calendar day until completion.
