Reference Number 0000276830 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/04 01:00:00 PM EDT The selected bidder will be required to execute a contract with TPS for the provision of service deliverables and should review the terms and conditions set out to understand the contract being entered into with TPS. It is TPS intention to enter into a contract with only one (1) legal entity. The term of this contract is for three (3) year period expected to commence on award of contract, whereby TPS reserves the right to renew the contract for an additional two (2) x one (1) year period. Renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and TPS approval if applicable. The Purchasing Services Unit, on Behalf of the Facilities Management Unit of the Toronto Police Service (the Service, or the Tps) is Inviting Quotations From Qualified Painting Contractors to Provide the Tps With Painting Services at Some of Its Fifty Facilities Within the Toronto Area. All Painting Undertaken Under This Contract Shall Be Performed by Skilled and Experienced Painters Who Are Members of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (Iupat) and the Bidder Must Be a Member of the Ontario Painting Contractors Association (Opca). The Purpose of This Rfq is to Select One Vendor to Enter Into a Unit Price Contract to Be Used as the Basis for Upcoming Work Assignments for Small to Mid-sized Painting Projects at Various Tps Facilities. This Rfq Requires the Vendor to Provide Various Unit Prices for Interior & Exterior Painting Services That Include the Cost of All Necessary Labour, Materials, Supplies & Equipment in Accordance With the Attached Specifications Listed in Appendix H. Work Will Be Performed at Various Locations Within Toronto. These Services Will Be Performed on an "as and When Needed" Basis During the Term of This Contract. For Each Work Assignment, a Tps Project Supervisor Will Work With the Vendor to Define the Required Location, Painting Scope and Timeline. The Vendor Will Use Their Unit Prices Submitted in Their Bid Response to This Rfq as the Basis for Pricing Each Work Assignment. All Work Will Be Subject to Approval by the Tps Facilities Management Project Supervisor. The Performance of the Vendor That is Selected for This Contract Will Be Subject to an Annual Review. Their Continued Contract With the Tps Will Be Subject to the Vendor's Acceptable Performance Over the Prior Year. Note That There is No Estimate to the Number of Projects or the Size of Projects That May Be Completed Over a Year, and There is No Guarantee of Any Work Under This Rfq.
