The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide and install bollards at The Central Landfill (CLF), located at 1201 N 49th State Street, Palmer, AK 99645. Questions Due Date: Aug 26th 2024, 5:00 PM AKDT Questions or requests for clarification directed to any other member of the Borough staff other than Borough Purchasing, or consultants may be grounds for rejection of quote as being irregular, E-mail questions to Purchasing@matsugov.us. The selected contractor is responsible for providing all materials to install 9 new bollards, each consisting of the following: 4-inch steel casing, 7 feet in length Buried 3'6" deep in the ground in a 16-inch diameter hole Fill the remainder of the hole with concrete Fill the 4-inch casing with concrete Cover the 4-inch casing with a high vis yellow bollard cover
