The Roofing Contractor shall repair, on an as needed basis as requested by Guilford County Schools, the roofs to ensure they remain in good condition. Service work may include routine scheduled maintenance and repairs as per below on a time and material basis including use of equipment. Scheduling of work shall typically coincide with normal business hours (7am-5pm) Monday-Friday, excluding Holidays but may be adjusted at the request of Guilford County Schools. 1.) Repairs to roof (in accordance to manufacture specifications) 2.) Removal of snow/ice on roof, if asked to do so 3.) Inspection of roof 4.) Repairs to gutters and downspouts 5.) Repairs plumbing boots and leaking duct work 6.) Repair water intrusion areas 7.) Other miscellaneous service work The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one- year periods. If pricing and terms are satisfactory to both parties. To accommodate the bid questions process, vendors shall submit any such questions by August 19, 2024 by 2:00PM EDT. Written questions shall be emailed to Velicia Gaddy gaddyv@gcsnc.com 336-370-3240 Guilford County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all quotes presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
