Tenders are invited to furnish and deliver to the Calumet Water Reclamation Plant: three (3) Victaulic Style 230S Non-Restrained Flexible Pipe Couplings as specified herein. All deliveries shall be completed in accordance with the 'Time' section of the Detail Specifications. The Contract is divided, for purposes of bidding, into two (2) Items. Bidders must submit bids for both Items or the bid will be rejected as non-responsive. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District intends to issue one (1) purchase order to one (1) Contractor for all of the material to be furnished under this Contract. There is no bid deposit for this Contract. The District will only respond to questions received online up to ONE WEEK prior to the bid opening date of the bidding documents. The District will not respond to questions received after this date. The District does not guarantee the timeliness of responses provided online, nor does the District guarantee that such responses will be provided in adequate time to affect the submission of bids. The District shall provide responses online ONLY if the responses do not interpret or otherwise change the bidding documents. The contact person for this contract is Mr. James Connolly. Bidders shall take special note of the stipulations on page G-4, under Interpretation of Contract Documents, in regards to questions on this Contract. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals.
