Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed includes but is not limited to the demolition, remediation, and site restorations of former industrial, commercial, multifamily, and single-family properties including accessory buildings on acquired properties for the Red Line Extension (RLE) project. The work includes the following, which may or may not be a complete list. 1. Removal of buildings including garages. 2. Removal of foundations up to 2’ below grade or up to 8’ below grade at alley/ utility dedication locations, as noted in the drawings. 3. Break concrete slab and fill basement. 4. Disconnection of existing utilities.5. Remediation/abatement of hazardous materials Although a firm timeline has not been confirmed, construction is not expected to start prior to first quarter 2025. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
