The general scope of work includes demolition of existing buildings, shade structures, walls, and paving, performing minor grading and constructing retaining walls, foundation walls, pathways, pavements, pedestrian safety, utilities, shade structures, splash pad play area, fencing and gates, landscape drainage, park lighting, communications, security, irrigation, planting and maintenance. Specific improvements will include site demolition, construction of accessible parking, drop-off, and curb ramps, cast-in-place concrete and concrete modular unit structures, walls and footings, concrete paving, aggregate base, minor grading, drainage improvements, signage, pavement markings, splash pad play features and filtration system, metal fencing and gates, park lighting, security, landscaping, and irrigation systems. Ancillary work will include mobilization, traffic control during construction, utility coordination, water pollution control, and construction surveying.
