The Town of Lunenburg is aware of the need for continual improvement with our transport infrastructure, including our pedestrian network. Rapid Flashing Crosswalk Beacons at our key crosswalks has been identified as an area where we can increase safety for both pedestrians and road users. The town is looking for proposals for the supply and installation of sets of Rapid Flashing Crosswalk Beacons at four (4) locations of existing crosswalks within Lunenburg: - Green St at High Street - Dufferin St at Churchill St - Victoria Rd at Hall St - Victoria Rd at Lunenburg BMR (mid-block) Deadline for all inquiries is Friday August 30, 2024, at 2:00pm.
