The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Full depth milling, removal, and paving of asphalt from the Selwood Drive & STH 188 intersection to the end of the cul de sac. This length of work is approximately 5,055 ft. Other work includes culvert work, shouldering, ditching, restoration, and erosion control. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the time set for bid opening. The Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute the project contract. The bid bond will be returned to the bidder once the contract has been signed.
