Renovation of a municipal facility in Bedford, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Lawrence County Courthouse and Plaza Renvoations Renovation of the Clerk's Office and transaction countertop with bullet resistant construction. Remove existing finishes in existing office areas: 1) Vinyl Tile. 2) Carpet Tiles. 3) Damaged Gypsum Board. 4) Floor base. 5) Acoustical Ceiling Panels and ceiling grid. Install new finishes in existing office areas. 1) LVT Flooring. 2) Vinyl Base. 3) New gypsum boaed. 4) New abuse gypsum board in new wainscot areas. 5) New finished wood chair railing. 6) New acoustical ceiling panels. 7) New lighting. 8) New bathroom exhaust and accessories. c. Seven Phases of Work: Coordinate with concurrent HVAC systems with related electrical and plumbing upgrades on phasing, temporary partitions and general timing. Courthouse and Annex will be occupied during entire construction. Emergency egress must be maintained during the replacement of entrance. Night and weekend work may be required. Set schedule for after hours work with Auditor. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid (in the form of a bid bond) in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Contractor Qualifications will be strictly enforced. See requirements in Specification front end. At least one Addenda will be issued on September 19, 2024. All RFI's to be in to Architect by September 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm local time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A 100% Performance Bond, for Labor and Material Payment, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
