Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Darien, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

PROJECT: Darien Downtown Development Authority, hereinafter referred to as "Owner", is currently requesting proposals to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and other appurtenances to extend the parking lot on Broad Street, across from First Georgia Hardware & Marine. The parking lot will consist of concrete demolition, grading, base, asphalt paving, striping, storm drain pipes, storm drain inlets, curb and gutter, erosion control, and turf establishment. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. The successful Proposer, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The successful Proposer will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owner's Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive All Technicalities, Reject Any or All Proposals and Make the Award in Its Best Interest.
