The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to provide the date, time, and location for the site visit. The site visit will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 1PM EST. All contractors attending the site visit shall meet at the Engineering Building. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for fence repair services. The government intends to award a firmfixed price purchase order . The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and disposal necessary to provide fence repair services at the Dayton VA Medical Center pursuant to the Statement of Work described herein. Quoters should carefully follow instructions included in the Basis for Award and for evaluation criteria. Period of Performance: 90 days from award (effective) date Scope of Work: The contractor shall: a. Provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision for the replacement and repair of damaged sections of the black rod iron fencing located in multiple locations of the Dayton VA campus perimeter. b. Match new fence in dimensions and appearance of the adjacent sections. c. If necessary, salvage parts from removed sections of fence to make repairs.
