Site work for a water / sewer project in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
provision of all labor, equipment and material necessary for the following work: Line walls and benches of eleven (11) manholes on Frances Avenue and Grange Avenue North of Rosemary Avenue. Approximately 248 VF of manhole to be lined. The City requires prequalification of Contractors prior to obtaining bidding documents or submitting bids or acting as a Contractor on any public improvement project. The letting of work is subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of New Berlin equal to 5% of the largest possible total bid. The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after the award shall cause the bid bond or check to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. Award will be made to the lowest and most responsible bidder. The City of New Berlin reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the City, waive any technicality, or reject any or all bids. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the City.
