Completion Date: Sept. 26, 2025 The work shall include the installation of the new cranes and concrete bases, all associated electrical work, pavement patching, and other associated site restoration. All Contractors shall submit a "Bidder's Qualification Statement" to the City of New Berlin. The City requires pre-qualification of Contractors prior to obtaining bidding documents or submitting bids or acting as a Contractor on any public improvement project. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of New Berlin equal to 5% of the largest possible total bid. The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after the award shall cause the bid bond or check to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. A recommendation will be made to the City Council at a meeting in early 2025. Award will be made to the lowest and most responsible bidder. The City of New Berlin reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the City, waive any technicality, or reject any or all bids. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the City.
