Contract 324 - Sealing and Abandonment of Three Municipal Wells including sealing and capping in accordance with all Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation regulations and requirements will be received by the Nolensville/College Grove Utility District (Owner) at the address shown above until 1:30 PM CST, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Two of the three wells require the removal and disposal of the existing above ground motors and discharge heads, column assemblies, pump bowls, and discharge pipes. The wells are believed to have 8" casings and the two existing pumps are thought to be set at about 150 feet. The wells are artesian wells and continuously discharge a significant volume of water year-round. Drilling rig access and available work area for two of the wells is very good, the third being more difficult to access. The wells are all situated around an abandoned water treatment plant located in the rear of 2000 Johnson Industrial Boulevard, Nolensville, TN 37135. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Proposed Lump Sum must be included with the Proposal.
