The work consists of construction of a 3.1-mile (5 kilometer) multi-use trail 15' wide, 10-foot wide paved (on grade) asphalt and 5-foot-wide compacted decomposed granite, flush concrete curbing outside of asphalt and decomposed granite. Eight (8) embedded trail distance markers spaced equally around the trail. The trail is designed to be connected to existing walkway around the northwest perimeter of James Reginal Sports Park Soccer fields complex (APN 176-09-201-012). Ten (10) interpretive and educational signs, Four (4) 13' X13' shade wayside rest stations with solar lighting & Four (4) concrete picnic tables, and total of Eleven (11) trailside concrete benches. Project also includes, Three (3) at grade pedestrian flashers with electronic signals; One (1) pedestrian flasher at Cimarron Road crossing, and two (2) rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon flashers at both Robindale Road crossing.
