Site work and paving for a road / highway in Branson, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Scope of Work for the Base Bid includes a 2-inch asphalt overlay on Dogwood Park Trail, East Chinquapin Circle, Caps Lane, South Caps Cove Lane, and North Caps Cove Lane. The Scope of Work for Bid Alternate 1 includes a 2-inch overlay for a section of Indian Point Road starting at Harbor Lane ending at the entrance of Indian Point Marina, a section of Myrtle Lane and a section of Moon Lane, and pavement markings and striping on Indian Point Road. The Scope of Work for Bid Alternate 2 includes chip and seal on sections of Spruce Lane, Mimosa Lane and Hickory Lane. The Scope of work for all bids includes any and all other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Village of Indian Point anticipates issuing notice to proceed in early October 2024. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this specification. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962," (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. Effective January 1, 2009, and pursuant to RSMo 285.530 (1), No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming the business entity's enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and that all of its employees working for the contracted services are not illegal immigrants. Upon signing the contract, the successful contractor and any subcontractor performing the work shall provide a tenhour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees. The Village of Indian Point hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Owner Intends to Award the Contract to the Most Responsive, Responsible Bidder Submitting the Lowest Bid. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, and to Waive Any Irregularities in the Best Interest of the Owner. Question Deadline 09/04/2024 Bidders may request clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents by making a written request which shall reach the Owner at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Any interpretation, correction or change of the Bidding Documents will be made by Addendum. Interpretations, corrections or changes of the Bidding Documents made in any other manner will not be binding on the Owner, and bidders shall not rely upon such interpretations, corrections and changes. All time limits stated in the Contract Documents are of the essence. The Work to be performed under the Contract shall commence within seven (7) consecutive calendar days of the date of the written Notice to Proceed from the Owner to the Contractor, and shall be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from and including the date of said written Notice to Proceed, subject to adjustments of this Contract Time as provided in the Contract Documents. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids, to reject a bid not accompanied by the Bid Security or by other data required by the Bidding Documents, to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, and to rebid the Work at a later date if all bids are rejected.
