The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to hydraulically dredge two existing storage lagoons and pump the alum sludge to a drying area for permanent disposal complete with mobilization, demobilization, booster pumping, fuel, taxes, and all other costs necessary for removing accumulated sludge. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract/Purchase Order. All other questions may be directed to Amy Chinouth, achinouth@cartersloope.com, at the issuing office, Carter & Sloope, Inc., Watkinsville, GA, 706-769-4119. If work exceeds $100,000.00, Performance and Payment Bonds covering 100% of the work will be required. Bonds are not required if work is less than $100,000.00. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Quotes and to reject the Quote of any PROPONENT if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that PROPONENT, whether because the Quote is not responsive or the PROPONENT is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner.
