Scope of Project Qualified applicants should be able to complete a full set of construction drawings including interior carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design as well as oversee all construction as defined herein. No alterations shall be made to the existing partitions within the space. Construction shall be limited to interior partitioning and the addition of needed MEP to support the health center. The existing space is 40' wide by 49' deep consisting of a CMU shell. The health center shall consist of one (1) waiting area large enough to seat twelve (12) people, four (4) medical exam rooms of a size and make-up commensurate with minimum recommendations from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), two (2) bathrooms which are ADA compliant, one (1) staff break room, separate storage areas compliant with the department of community health guidelines for information technology, medication, environmental services supplies and general supplies. The center should also have one (1) registration kiosk which ensures patient privacy, one (1) nursing station with adequate counterspace for documentation, and storage area large enough to house a 24" wide by 40" deep mobile x-ray unit. One of the four exam rooms shall be not less than 11 x 14 so as to allow for adequate space needed for casting and other sports-related injuries. One of the four exam rooms shall be equipped to house telemedicine equipment. Evaluation Criteria Applicants must meet all of the following standards to be considered for award: 1.Must hold a current General Contractors License in the State of Georgia 2.Must hold general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim, $3,000,000 aggregate 3.Must be able to oversee all phases of design and construction including the obtaining of permits and approval of construction drawings. 4.Must operate within the construction budget of roughly $300,000.00 Please contact Kevin Hicks for additional information at 706-282-4267 or email kevin.hicks@stephenscountyhospital.com.
