Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Salisbury, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A. The City of Salisbury is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to furnish and install a combined restroom and pavilion, water and sewer tap and all site amenities shown on site plan and architectural plans. This project is located at Waterside Park at 1001 Parsons Road in Salisbury, MD. B. CDBG funding requirements dictate we must install one (1) ADA compliant parking space at the property with connecting ADA compliant sidewalk to the structure. It is preferred by the City to pave the entire parking lot, including the ADA space, however budget constraints may prevent the installation of both. Thus the remainder of the parking lot has been included as an add alternate. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, in a form and by a surety company approved by the City of Salisbury. The bond must be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid(s). Certified or cashier's checks are acceptable in lieu of bid bond, subject to the same conditions. Bonds and checks shall be made payable to the CITY OF SALISBURY. Vendors shall utilize the bond forms attached to this bid document. The vendor or to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in a form and by a surety company approved by the City of Salisbury. The amount of the bond shall be one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bonds shall be made payable to the City of Salisbury. Vendors shall utilize the bond forms attached to this bid document. Work shall be completed within 150 days of the Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 09/05/2025 at 12:00 PM ET.
