As of October 23, 2024, project was awarded to Construction Masters Services LLC, awarded amount is $1,314,802.15 Proposals for the Liggett Ave. Paving Project. The project includes the reconstruction of the street within the Liggett Ave Intersection area to a depth of 15 inches, to include Hancock Blvd. and N. Wyomissing Blvd. from the crosswalk at the Reading Truck Body Plant to Patton Ave.; and reconstruction of Liggett Ave. from McClellan St. to Hancock Blvd.; and installation of sidewalk, curbing, pavement markings and other items as shown on the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 09/12/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Location online portal. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest.
