Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ontelaunee, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work generally consists of the realignment of Bower Road at the intersection with Lake Shore Drive (S.R. 0073), furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to removal of existing road section, storm drain, storm pipe, guiderail, excavation/grading, etc. and construction of new road section and storm water infrastructure. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Ontelaunee Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, and the right to waive any immaterial defects in the bidding process, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Ontelaunee Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received.
