SCOPE:
Salt Lake County Contracts and Procurement, on behalf of Salt Lake County Information Services(County) invites your company to bid on providing data cables, patch panels, ports, cords,
and miscellaneous communication supplies (Communications Supplies) per these specifications. Resulting contract(s) will be County-wide contract(s) allowing any County agency to use these contracts. This bid is to establish a cost-plus percent markup to be applied to purchases made through the resulting contract(s). The Communication Supplies from the resulting contract(s) may be needed in the event of a natural disaster. CONTRACT TERM:
The contract resulting from this solicitation will become effective on the date of execution with a five (5) year term. The County reserves the right to review the contract on a regular basis regarding performance and cost analysis and may negotiate price and service elements during the term of the contract. AWARD:
Salt Lake County may award bids and contracts to suppliers through a preference system. Please refer to the preference attachment. Salt Lake County may reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to do a multiple award by awarding multiple contracts to the lowest responsive, responsible bidders bidding the lowest overall cost to the County based upon the calculated totals on the submitted Attachment #1 Price Schedule and entered in the online Product Line. Up to 4 contracts may be awarded with at least 2 of those contracts being awarded to contractors who have a will-call location in County for data cables, patch panels, ports, cords, and misc. communication supplies. County may reject any or all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. County should have at least two contracts in place during the term of the contract. The County reserves the right to award a primary and secondary contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) meeting specifications. A primary contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder and a secondary contract may be awarded to the next lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Orders will be placed with the secondary contract when supplies or parts are not available from the primary contract holder.
