Reference Number 00004201076 The Township of BRM is wishing to procure a qualified and competent contractor to provide approximately 3,500 Tonnes of approved winter sand (required to meet Ontario Provincial Standard Specification 1004) and re-mix approximately 2,000 Tonnes of previously stockpiled winter sand (currently located in the storage dome). The approved material shall be hauled to the Public Works yard located at 1115 Vimy Ridge Road. The contractor will mix the winter sand with road salt (procured by the Township) at 3% (by mechanically calibrated means). The salted winter sand shall then be placed by means of hopper and articulating conveyor in a conical pile within the winter storage dome at the public works yard. The contractor is to provide all required personnel and equipment to ensure proper screening, loading, hauling, dumping, stockpiling, mixing, and final conical stockpile in a manner that meets the required specifications.
